This study aimed to assess physical education teachers' beliefs and attitudes regarding teaching students with disabilities in inclusive primary schools. A qualitative approach was used with a sample of 12 physical education teachers from 24 inclusive education-provider schools in Pekanbaru. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observation checklists and analysed using content analysis. Findings showed significant variation in teachers' beliefs regarding the potential of students with disabilities in physical education. While some teachers showed a strong belief in the abilities of these students, others remained sceptical. In addition, some teachers were more confident in teaching students with mild disabilities compared to students with more severe disabilities. These findings underline the importance of improving teachers' understanding of the potential of students with disabilities in the context of physical education. This research contributes to a better understanding of physical education teachers' perspectives on inclusive education, which serves as a basis for improving training and support strategies for teachers who face challenges in teaching students with diverse disabilities. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of creating an inclusive school environment to support more effective inclusive education practices.
Merlina Sari, Novia Nazirun, Novri Gazali, Ade Irma, Desi Yulia Septiani, Nagoor Meera Abdullah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://ejurnal.budiutomomalang.ac.id/index.php/jpjok/article/view/3662 Thu, 30 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The Analysis of Borneo FC 1ST Indonesian League Football Player Body Compotition http://ejurnal.budiutomomalang.ac.id/index.php/jpjok/article/view/3377
Proper body composition is an important role in sports performance that is not optimal can reduce the athlete's physical fitness so that the performance decrease when competition occur. After that, measurements were retaken to find out the difference in results after being given treatment. The subjects in this study were 15 junior high school male futsal players aged 14-16 years. This research was conducted in 16 meetings for six weeks, three times a week. Data collection techniques through tests. The test instrument to determine VO2max uses a multistage fitness test (MFT). The test results showed that the pretest average was 29.85, while the posttest average was 33.74. These results indicate an increase in the VO2max value of 3.89 (ml/kg/min). Then the data were analysed using a paired sample t-test to answer the research hypothesis. The results show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.
