CPL requires student-centered learning and the role of the lecturer as a facilitator so that Student Center Learning (SCL) is created. Real Analysis 2 which is a follow-up course from Real Analysis 1. Real Analysis 2 is a pure mathematics course that contains a collection of definitions and theorems and lemmas that involve proof. So far, learning real analysis is difficult for students to accept, namely making connections between one rule and another. One learning model that facilitates students to fulfill the CPL for Real Analysis 2 course is the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model. PjBL implementation must be supported by adequate learning facilities. Therefore, a module based on the PjBL model is needed. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. The characteristics of analogy in the submission of area problems can be categorized into three: (1) Identical-reformulation is rearranging the elements in the problem structure in ways that do not change the nature of the problem. (2) Identical-different-reconstruction is modifying and maintaining some elements of the form in the initial problem so that the resulting problem looks slightly different. (3) Different-imitation is changing and adding new shape elements that are not in the initial problem to produce a different problem. The results of the research showed that the characteristic most often found in students is imitation, where the problem produced is different from the initial problem given. So the different imitation characteristics that appear most often correspond to replacement characteristics, namely the problem posing product based on the initial problem or source problem by changing the context of the problem, namely changing the shape of the cake slice.
2023-10-20T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://ejurnal.budiutomomalang.ac.id/index.php/prismatika/article/view/3352 PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING BERBANTUAN MEDIA POWER POINT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR 2023-10-26T06:49:58+00:00 Imam Gozali indahmath84@mail.unipar.ac.id Marsidi Marsidi marsidiarin@gmail.com Indah Rahayu Panglipur indahmath89@mail.unipar.ac.id
Students' mathematical learning results are influenced by many variables, including students, parents, schools, curricula, and mathematics itself. This research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the pattern of difficulties students face when understanding and answering fraction calculation questions. This study aims to analyze the pattern of mathematics learning difficulties of elementary school students when completing fraction calculation operations. The sample includes 5 subjects consisting of 5th grade students at SD Negeri 4 Mayonglor Jepara. Data collection was carried out through observation, as well as interviews with students and teachers. The data will be analyzed and used to explain the problem being studied. The results of data analysis show that students experience various difficulties in understanding the basic concepts of fractions and the ability to calculate fractions. One of the biggest difficulties is understanding the relationship between the numerator and denominator of a fraction. Students also often have difficulty converting fractions into their simplest form, changing fractions from mixed fractions to improper fractions and vice versa. Apart from that, understanding fractions with different denominators is also a challenge for students. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model. The research subjects were class VII junior high school students with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The validation results showed that the LKS met the valid criteria with a percentage of 92%. The practical results showed that the LKS met the practical criteria with a percentage of 82.25%. The effectiveness results showed that the LKS met the effective criteria, namely that 80% of students had a score of more than or equal to 75. Based on the research results, it could be concluded that the live worksheet-based LKS to improve students' critical thinking skills in social arithmetic material was valid, practical and effective.
2023-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://ejurnal.budiutomomalang.ac.id/index.php/prismatika/article/view/3524 STUDI ETNOMATEMATIKA GARIS DAN SUDUT PADA MOTIF SENI RUMAH BUDAYA SUMBA 2023-10-31T18:30:49+00:00 Maria Liberti Dhajo marialiberti795@gmail.com Yunis Sulistyorini yunis.sulistyorini@gmail.com
Ethnomatematics is a bridge between culture and mathematics as well as mathematics and culture. This study aims to describe the results of an ethnomathematics study on the art motifs of the Sumba cultural house related to the mathematical concepts of lines and angles. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. In this study, the ethnographic approach aims to describe and analyze culture based on mathematical concepts on lines and angles in the Sumba cultural house motif. Research data collection techniques were observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection instruments used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. The instrument guide contains three aspects, namely historical aspects, philosophical aspects and mathematical aspects. The data analysis technique used in this study were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The technique used to test the validity of the data was the triangulation technique. The triangulation used is technical triangulation. The results showed that in Sumba culture houses there are various kinds of motifs such as turtle, crocodile, horse, chicken, deer, enga or plate motifs, mamuli, maraga, tala or gong, bhedu or tambor, pig's jaw, buffalo horn and anatou. The mathematical concept of lines and angles in the Sumba cultural house has various forms of lines and angles. The motifs are in the form of lines such as parallel lines, coincident lines and intersecting lines. Meanwhile, motifs that are in the form of angles such as acute angles, right angles, obtuse angles, straight angles and reflex angles.
2023-10-31T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://ejurnal.budiutomomalang.ac.id/index.php/prismatika/article/view/3526 PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA ULAR TANGGA DENGAN MODEL REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION PADA PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA 2023-11-10T07:24:43+00:00 Dewanti Nur Akhidah akhidahdewanti@gmail.com Eka Zuliana eka.zuliana@umk.ac.id Diana Ermawati diana.ermawati@umk.ac.id
Monotonous and conventional learning using the lecture method can cause students to be less interested in learning. This causes the concept given not to imprint sharply in the memory of students so that students easily forget and often confused in solving a problem that is different from what is exemplified by the teacher. The purpose of this study is for the feasibility, effectiveness, and development of snakes and ladders media with a Realistic Mathematics Education model on understanding mathematical concepts. In this study, research and development (R&D) research methods were used. This research will be carried out in grade IV SDN Tambirejo with research subjects of 10 students and teachers. The subject selection of 10 students was obtained from the postest and prettest assessments. For teachers, an assessment was obtained from the results of interviews between researchers and teachers. The dependent variable in this study is understanding the concept, while the independent variable is a Realistic Mathematics Education model assisted by two snakes and ladders. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study show that Snakes and Ladders media is very feasible to use, shown by the percentage of media feasibility of 77% and material feasibility of 88%. The N-Gain test showed a result of 0.1785 with the "medium" category. The conclusion in this study is that the Snakes and Ladders media is declared feasible and effective for use in grade IV learning of Wide Material Maematics Lessons and flat build circumference.
2023-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
