Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Berbantukan Media Pop-Up Book untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep IPA Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the understandaing of the concept of science learning of grade sixth students of SDN Jabung 2 Panekan Magetan by implementing contextual learning model with the help of pop-up book media.  The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and this type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the research in this study were students of class VI SDN Jabung 2 Panekan Magetan with amounted to 18 students. The data collection in this research is the learning implementation plan (RPP), student activity observation sheet, teacher activity observation sheet, student worksheet, test, anda interview. The results showed that the percentage of cycle 1 test results was 66,67% and the percentage of cycle 2 test result was 88,89%. So that the contextual learning model with the pop-up book media on the earth and space theory can improve student concept understanding of science learning from cycle 1 to cycle 2 that is 22,22%.
