Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop the Story Mabel book with the subject of fractions for grade III Elementary school using the ADDIE development method. The development step used by the researcher is the development proposed by Branch (2009) which consists of several stages carried out, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluate. ). The data collection technique used in this development research is in the form of validation questionnaires from material experts, media experts, and student response questionnaires. The percentage obtained is 84.44% by material experts and declared valid and very suitable for use. Meanwhile, from media experts, the Story Mabel book on the subject of fractions for grade III SD received a percentage of 96.92% and was declared valid and suitable for research. At the implementation stage for students, the response to the Story Mabel book on the subject of fractions for grade III SD was very positive, which of the 10 aspects all of them received a response above 60%. Thus the results of the development of the Story      Mabel book have met the eligibility criteria, so the book is very suitable for use.
