Abstract

Indonesia is a drab nation consisting of various tribes from Sabang to Merauke which are arranged in the language "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" divorced but still one. Of the many islands and areas inhabited in general, they have different cultures in solving the problems they face. One of the cultures inherent in people's lives is the culture of gotong royong which is the backbone of life. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The reason is, this research is a research procedure with descriptive data presentation results. The researcher uses a sociology of literature approach. Sociology of literature is a literary approach in the form of objective and scientific studies of humans in social life, studies of institutions, and social processes. In culture, there are many social and religious values that are very beneficial for a pluralistic society. It also contains religious values that are closely related to the socio-cultural behavior of the community.
