Abstract

The development of Contextual-based worksheets on Pythagorean Theorem material for grade VIII junior high school aims to produce worksheets so that they can be used as teaching materials to support learning on Pythagorean Theorem material for grade VIII students of junior high school. The procedure for developing contextual-based worksheets on the Pythagorean Theorem material for class VIII SMP uses the ADDIE development stages, namely (A) analysis, (D) design, (D) development, (I) implementation, and (E) evaluation. This research was conducted at MTS Sunan Bonang Ngabab Pujon. The data obtained were then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques. Contextual-based LKS Successfully developed with test results Expert validation of 79.6% in the Valid category, Teacher Practitioners of 92.5% in the Practical category, and tried out to students obtaining an average result of 74.5% in the Practical category. So, Contextual-based worksheets on class VIII junior high school Pythagorean Theorem material are valid and suitable for use as teaching materials during learning as well as as a means of independent learning by students.
