Analisis Kebutuhan terhadap Media Pembelajaran HEDIBOOK (Herbarium Digital Book) sebagai Alat Peraga Berbasis Web pada Materi Pteridophyta

Abstract

Learning in the modern era has used a lot of technology that can assist teachers in delivering learning material, and requires teachers to be able to master technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of teachers and students for learning media. Especially in science lessons, the material for kingdom Plantae, sub-chapter of ferns (Pteridophyta), which in this lesson really needs a media that can support the learning process. This study uses two types of methods, namely descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. This study uses a purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of a sample based on a certain characteristic in a population that has a dominant relationship, which can later be used to achieve a research objective. The research subjects were 2 subject teachers and 15 MIA class X students at MA Al-Ittihad, the results of the responses from teachers and students stated that 93.3% needed a digital-based learning media, practical, clear and interesting, so that it could increase student learning interest.  The learning media that is considered appropriate is the learning media HEDIBOOK (Herbarium Digital Book) as a web-based teaching aid using the book creator application on pteridophyta material.
