A Leaves Color Chart (LCC) Tanaman Ketapang sebagai Media Praktikum Biologi pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan untuk Meningkatkan Psikomotorik Siswa SMP Negeri Sokoria NTT
Abstract
The ability of students to understand learning material will be easier if supported by the right learning media. Likewise with practicum activities. Leaves Color Chart (LCC) is a learning media in practicum for environmental pollution measurement. The study aims to determine the psychomotor improvement of students through practicum activities on environmental pollution material using LCC of ketapang plant. This research is a quasi-experimental study using two classes that class A as control class and class B as treatment class. LCC as a learning medium in the environmental pollution material practices activity, namely as a match for the observed leaf color, which determined by the status of plants condition in the category of it’s pollution level. The results showed there was an increase in psychomotoric students on SMP Negeri Sokoria NTT who used LCC as Biology practicum media on environmental pollution material than class without LCC as a learning medium for practicum activities.
