Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Teks Deskripsi dengan Memanfaatkan Media Gambar Motif Kain Sumba Barat Daya Siswa Kelas VII SMPN I Kodi Tahun Ajaran 2020
Abstract
Teaching materials are a set of learning materials arranged systematically, showing a complete figure of the competencies that will be mastered by students in learning activities. The formulation of the problems in this study include: 1) how to develop teaching materials for descriptive text using Sumba cloth motif image media that has a language eligibility test ?, 2) How to develop teaching materials for descriptive text using Sumba cloth motif image media that has a material feasibility test ?, 3) how is the development of descriptive text teaching materials using the Sumba cloth motif image media that has a design feasibility test? The research objectives correlate with the formulation of the problem. The type of research used in this research is research and development (R & D) with the 4D development model consisting of four stages, namely: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development and 4) Disseminate, research is carried out with the aim of producing a product in the form of descriptive textbooks, students of SMPN I Kodi were the samples. The instruments in this study used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The book is said to be feasible from the results of the validation by material, language and design experts, as for the evaluation of the validator, namely the material expert validator obtains a total score of 10.08 and an average value of 3, the total score of the linguist validator gets a total score of 9.5 with average value 3, design expert validator with a total score of 12.5 a mean value of 4 and obtaining the results of student trials with a total score of 23.49 a mean value of 4, so that the teaching material is declared feasible to be implemented in Indonesian language learning using image media Southwest Sumba cloth motif suitable for grade VII junior high school students.
