Abstract

In terms of genetic quality, the existing PE goats in Malang Regency are still not good. PE goats generally give birth to an average of 1-2 goats and even one tail a year. These PE goats also experience various obstacles, such as the high pre-weaning mortality rate of goats, as well as the tendency for high infant mortality rates in the number of births of more than one goat. In order for goats to give birth twice a year and give birth to 2-4 lambs at one birth, superovulation is carried out. Superovulation is one of a series of embryo transfer activities aimed at increasing the production ability of the female parent by injecting exogenous gonadotropin (GnRH) hormones. In Malang Regency, the low level of productivity of PE goats is due to the low reproductive capacity of this livestock. The low reproductive capacity of PE goats is due to a large number of cases of reproductive disorders, failure of marriages, and the limited number of children born, so the reproductive efficiency of PE goats is still low. The low productivity of PE goats is also not accompanied by a good selection for mating, which will reduce their production. In addition, many PE goats have low productivity due to the lack of knowledge of the farmer community regarding PE goat cultivation. The stages of implementing PKM activities are as follows: (a) Survey and planning, (b) PE goat farming training. The results achieved through this community service program are increasing the productivity of PE goats with PE goat cultivation training.
