ANALISIS KARAKTER TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL RAJA UNTUK RATU KARYA TERESIA

Abstract

One of the values ​​contained in literary works is educational value or educational value. The novel Odd Even by Almira Bastari tells the story of the main character Gala who experiences a broken heart and tries to find a mate again. So the purpose of this research is to find out the forms of educational value in the novel. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection model is carried out in three ways, namely, reading, listening and taking notes. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that in the novel Ganjil Genap by Almira Bastari, educational or educational values ​​consist of, namely, (1) education as cultural transmission, (2) education as personality development, (3) education as the development of noble and religious morals, (4) education as the development of responsible citizens, (5) education as preparation of a skilled workforce, (6) education is a complete personal development, and (7) education as the formation of new people.
