KOHESI GRAMATIKAL DAN KOHESI LEKSIKAL DALAM BUKU AKU MEPS DAN BEPS (KAJIAN WACANA)

Abstract

This study aims to determine grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion in the study of discourse, in the book Aku Meps and Beps. This research is a qualitative research. The research subject is a children's reading book entitled Aku Meps and Beps. Data collection was done by (1) reading repeatedly from the Meps and Beps Aku Book, (2) classifying the data and describing the data obtained, (3) data analysis, (4) the next stage, namely data recording techniques. The sentences recorded in the data card contain criteria for marking the relationship between endophoric sentences and the semantic relationship between the sentences is also determined after the data is identified. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the grammatical and lexical cohesion contained in Aku Meps and Beps' books are grammatical cohesion of conjunctions, references, ellipsis and lexical cohesion of repetition, synonyms, antonyms, equivalences
