Abstract

The personality structure is a stage of the soul's life which has three levels, namely conscious, preconscious, and unconscious. The conscious level which contains all the things we pay attention to is certain and only a small part of the mental flicker enters consciousness. Preconscious is memory that is ready or as a bridge between remembering events that have passed. Unconscious is the deepest part or the most important part in humans. Inner conflict is a conflict caused by the existence of two or more ideas, or a conflicting desire to control oneself so that it affects oneself, or it can often occur due to something related to physical and self-contradictory conflicts. Characters are actors or actors who experience events and problems in a story or fiction so that it can be an interesting story. There are three characters namely antagonist, protagonist and tritagonist. The antagonist is an evil character, the protagonist is a good character, and the antagonist is also known as a supporting character. Novel is a long fiction story and contains a series of stories of a person's life with those around him by highlighting the character or nature of the actor, or it can be a long prose essay containing a series of stories of human life and the surrounding community.
