PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) DENGAN MODEL MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATERI PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
Based on the results of observations in class X Baiturrohmah Islamic High School students will have a minimum of critical thinking and lack of creativity in ongoing learning. This is due to the lack of methods used by teachers / educators. After the researchers interviewed the Indonesian language teacher directly. The researcher can conclude that class X students are still lacking in capturing the contents of reading or direct explanations from educators because the method that is often used is the lecture method.
This study aims to determine (1) the feasibility of mind mapping model material on the development of worksheets (2) the feasibility of mind mapping model media (3) the results of developing student worksheets with mind mapping models in Indonesian language learning. This study is a
descriptive validation of the practicality and effectiveness of mind mapping based on the results after being observed. This research was designed descriptively to explain precisely the development of Student Worksheets based on the mind mapping model. The type of research used is Research and Development R&D (Research and Development) with a 4D model, namely Define (analysis/definition), Design (Design), Develop (development) and Disseminate (spread/apply). The use of the mind mapping model aims to get an overview general information regarding the development of Student Worksheets (LKS) using a mind mapping model in depth, detail, and completeness with respect to their validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The type of data taken is qualitative data. Where the data is taken from direct observations or observations by researchers related to the development of worksheets, validation of worksheets and limited trials through learning Indonesian by using worksheets based on the mind mapping model that has been prepared.
The results of the research are: 1) LKS based on the mind mapping model, the results of the development are declared valid, practical and effective and suitable for use. In developing the mind mapping model of LKS for Indonesian class X learning materials, based on the results of the validation of the material experts, they got a score of 87.17% and media experts got a score of 81.25%, while the overall validation of the LKS by Indonesian teachers got a score of 79.09%. 2) LKS The development of the mind mapping model after being tested on class X students of Baiturrohmah Islamic Senior High School was declared valid, effective and feasible to use by getting a score of 92.00%.
Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the development of Student Worksheets (LKS) with a mind mapping model is feasible to use to improve students' critical thinking skills.
