PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI QUIZIZZ PADA IMPLEMENTASI ULANGAN HARIAN SISWA XI-A SMAN 1 WARU-PAMEKASAN

Abstract

This study aims to create and develop online game learning media using the Quizizz application in the daily test of XI-A students at SMAN Waru-Pamekasan. Based on a preliminary study conducted at the initial observation stage, it turns out that teachers have a small portion in creating better learning. As a result, students lack motivation because the learning atmosphere is less attractive. The results of interviews and questionnaires also added that daily tests critically require interactive media which will later support learning during daily tests so that they can help teachers motivate students on daily tests. Daily tests are packaged using online games on the Quizizz application to attract students' interest in doing daily tests. Learning media using this Quizizz application is online based so that it makes it flexible in the use of text, images, video and audio. The present research opted Research and Development (R&D) design and was carried out at SMAN Waru-Pamekasan. Adapting the ADDIE Model, this research employed the following procedures (1) need analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. The researcher reached the stage until the final product. Data was gained by questionnaire in google form that was descriptively analyzed. The subject of the research was grade XI-A  students Academic year 2020-2021. The results of this study are online game learning media using the Quizizz Application in implementation on daily tests with a percentage of eligibility (1) the assessment of media experts, namely the English language lecturer at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang, reached 97% with a very good category, (2) the rating of Material experts namely IKIP lecturer Budi Utomo Malang reached 91% with categories very good. This findings found that good and interactive media in daily test was needed in SMAN 1 Waru-Pamekasan.
