KAJIAN SUREALISME DALAM NOVEL CARA BERBAHAGIA TANPA KEPALA KARYA TRISKAIDEKAMAN (PENDEKATAN PSIKOANALITIK LACANIAN)

Abstract

This study aims to describe aspects of surrealism and the process of forming the identity of the characters in ‘Cara Berbahagia Tanpa Kepala novel’ The approach used is a qualitative research approach with the Lacanian Psychoanalytic method. The steps taken in conducting the analysis are to identify aspects of surrealism and the process of forming the identity of the character which is then analyzed and concluded. After being analyzed using the Lacanian Psychoanalysis method, the following results were obtained. First, the subconscious phenomenon that occurs in Sempati's character who lives only with a head without a body, and also searches for his missing body. Second, the process of forming the identity of the main character, in this phase there are three phases, namely; the first phase is the real phase, the imaginary phase, and the last phase is the symbolic phase. Suggestions for further research, namely the research on Triskaidekaman's novel by figuring it out from a perspective other than a structural perspective and Lacanian psychoanalysis, for example a mimetic or semiotic perspective
