Abstract

The implementation of hybrid learning at IKIP Budi Utomo has been running for 1 year after Covid 19 attacked the health of the Indonesian population. For the 2021 academic year, various regions in Indonesia have allowed limited learning and distance learning, so IKIP Budi Utomo has a policy to implement hyrid learning. The purpose of this research is to find out how problematic the students of the history and sociology education study program at IKIP Budi Utomo are in the implementation of hybrid learning. Where based on academic data, 70% of IKIP Budi Utomo students are students who live in eastern Indonesia, namely NTT, NTB, Papua and Kalimantan. The research methodology used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of the study were obtained through interviews and observations where researchers were directly involved in hybrid learning. The results of the study show that there are various problems faced by students of the history and sociology education study program in the implementation of hybrid learning, there are two obstacles, namely internal and external constraints, where the internal factors that become problematic for students are the feeling of laziness and boredom when they are used to studying online during the covid 19 pandemic and now. must occasionally come to campus for learning in the classroom, while external factors that make students problematic are the spirit of the lecturer in the provisions of the lecture.
