Abstract

Indonesia was faced challenges with the task of educating students in understanding, analyzing, and overcoming environmental problems. Through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach, it is hoped that students will not only understand theoretical concepts but also be able to apply their knowledge in real projects that require critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. So, this research was relevant to responding to educational needs in the modern era which demands 21st century skills in students, including a deep understanding of environmental issues. This research aims to determine the response and feasibility of the PBjL learning module on environmental pollution material at Junior High School of Kertanegara Malang. This research uses a research and development design which involves several stages, such as planning, development, testing and evaluation. The research subjects used were Junior High School students of Kertanegara Malang who were involved in testing learning modules. The research results show that the validity of the PjBL-based learning module obtained from the results of media expert validators and material expert validators is classified as very strong or very valid. Meanwhile, the practicality of the PjBL-based learning module from the results of student responses is classified as very good or very practical. This module can be used as an alternative learning approach to increase student awareness and participation in overcoming environmental problems.
